The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has begun a blog, aptly called We Were Wondering, to help Texans better understand the breadth of our agency’s work and highlight staff members who pour their hearts into their careers. TCEQ is also using the platform to share information that comes across staff’s desk that is interesting or entertaining.
As a large state agency with nearly 3,000 employees, TCEQ oversees or regulates some areas that may be surprising to the public. Through the blog, staff will dive into a variety of subjects as they arise, from the bizarre to the mundane. They’ll also attempt to explain complex technical topics in everyday language.
