The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is hosting an Earth Day webinar for students around the state. EGLE’s Director, Liesl Eichler Clark, will host the event and provide an overview of the importance of Michigan’s environment. Students will have an opportunity to hear from agency experts on three important topics:
- Climate change – What is Michigan doing to address climate change and how you can help?
- Drinking water – How water gets to your house and how it is made safe to drink?
- Contaminated properties – How contaminated sites in Michigan are cleaned up and made usable again?
The event will be recorded so people may view it at a later time.
