This week, the DC Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) announced a partnership with EnergySage to offer DC residents an online marketplace to compare solar panel options and arrange to install solar panels or subscribe to a local community solar farm. The site makes it easy for customers to obtain competing quotes from prescreened solar installers, financing companies, and solar farm developers.
DOEE hopes that the resource will empower residents to contribute to the District’s efforts to be carbon free by 2050.
