ECOS presented its annual State Program Innovation Awards at its 2021 virtual Fall Meeting. States submitted excellent video nominations showcasing the results of innovative programs and approaches. Videos appeared in three categories: Data Management & Digital Business; Water; and PFAS & Materials Management, Air, & Environmental Justice. ECOS Fall Meeting attendees voted for the best innovation in each category.
Congratulations to the following state winners: Oregon’s ‘Your DEQ Online’ for the Data Management & Digital Business category, New Mexico’s COVID-19 Wastewater Surveillance for the Water, and Maryland’s Rethink Recycling Contest in the PFAS & Materials Management, Air, & Environmental Justice category.
