COVID Policy
ECOS values the health and safety of our meeting participants. While we cannot remove all risks, we ask that participants take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and productive meeting environment for us all.
As of 7/22/2022, the COVID-19 community level check is at Medium in Arlington County, Virginia. All attendees are strongly encouraged to follow the CDC guidance about COVID-19 to prevent illness. If you are sick or begin to experience any symptoms, please stay home. The recommended actions based on ‘Medium’ level are as follows:
- Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines.
- Wear a mask on public transportation.
- If you are at high risk for severe illness or live with someone at high risk, consider wearing a mask indoors in public and taking additional precautions.
- Get tested if you have symptoms. Wear a mask if you have had exposure to someone with COVID-19.
- You may choose to wear a mask at any time as an additional precaution to protect yourself and others.
Please note that these actions are subject to change based on the CDC recommendations and guidelines, available here and here. Note that all participants will be asked to wear masks indoors if Arlington County changes to a “High” COVID-19 community level.
If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Layne Piper. We look forward to you joining us in making this a safe and productive meeting!
