ECOS congratulates Steve Girt, Information Technology Manager with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, on being named DEQ Public Servant of the Year. This week’s award recognizes Girt’s hard work and positive attitude during his more than 20 years with the agency, even when faced with challenges.
He has also been a leader nationally through E-Enterprise for the Environment with states, tribes, and U.S. EPA, working to modernize the business of environmental protection. Girt recently contributed an E-Enterprise Bulletin article on how Wyoming Programs Are Moving Toward an Enterprise Approach.
