This week, the District of Columbia Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) marks Flood Awareness Week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony unveiling a public art project titled High Water Mark DC. The sculpture marks historic flooding levels in an at-risk area of the district. The project aims to help the public understand the risk of flooding and encourage resilience for the future.
