Tennessee DEC Marks its 25th Anniversary

The Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TDEC), which was created through the merger of various state programs, yesterday celebrated its 25th anniversary. A video marking the anniversary was shown across the state in TDEC’s parks and field offices. The first Commissioner joined ECOS member Bob Martineau in Nashville to cut a cake, and simultaneous cake cuttings were held at the agency’s eight field offices and 10 of the parks. [Parisien]
