This letter to U.S. EPA’s provides comments on the proposed per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) National Primary Drinking Water Regulation (NPDWR). The comments acknowledge this important step in proposing first-ever enforceable limits for PFAS under the Safe Drinking Water Act, and encourage further consideration of issues related to the broader management of PFAS, risk communication, state funding needs, treatment technology, and PFAS destruction and disposal.
