The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has taken to Instagram to draw attention to recyclables contamination and encourage residents to recycle right. In the run-up to the Super Bowl, DEQ is using memes of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to help the public “shake off” recycling misconceptions. The state has also posted a number of videos, posters, and tips on recycling materials like food and batteries and reusing bed frames, mattresses, concrete, and more.
