The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) Air Pollution Control Division has launched two new tools as part of its data access initiative. The tools are part of the division’s ongoing, multi-year focus on modernizing technology and expanding public access to information.
The environmental justice (EJ) summary dashboard allows users to identify air pollution sources in their zip code that may soon submit a permit. Colorado Air Quality Control Commission Regulation 3 requires most air pollution sources to submit an environmental justice summary ahead of an air permit application. Learn more through the new tool’s user guide and video tutorial.
The inspections data visualization tool shows inspections at facilities across Colorado related to air quality requirements. Users can search for specific air pollution sources by company name, facility name, or identification number to learn about the division’s most recent inspection and access related documents.
