The Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control (DNREC) Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances has announced a statewide sale of compost bins, rain barrels, and other conservation accessories. Using bulk purchasing, DNREC is able to offer these supplies to Delaware residents at greatly reduced prices, encouraging backyard composting and rainwater collection to reduce organic waste going to landfills, lower water costs, and keep waterways clean.
Through a partnership with the private sector, Delawareans can shop online for various products and models on the DNREC website until early April.
