The Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control (DNREC) Division of Energy & Climate has extended its popular Clean Transportation Incentive Program. The program, which originally was launched in July 2015, encourages Delaware drivers and businesses to choose cost-effective alternative-fuel vehicles by providing rebates on purchases, leases, and charging station usage. To date, the program has been well-received statewide, providing more than twice the number of residents with rebates as originally targeted.
The newly revamped incentive program includes changes to rebate amounts and modified requirements, and will apply to cars and equipment purchased on or after November 1, 2016.
