On October 19, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) was awarded the 2016 Most Valuable Pollution Prevention Award in the multimedia category by the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable for its Sustainability Series Webinars. The multimedia awards are judged on five broad criteria: innovation, measurable results, transferability, commitment, and optimization of available project resources.
