The North Carolina Division of Coastal Management has announced the availability of $100,000 in grants to coastal local governments for natural hazard and storm recovery projects.
The objective of the grant program is to help the 20 coastal counties and their local governments with land-use planning and management projects. Potential projects may include education and outreach, planning for coastal resources or issues, improving intergovernmental coordination, targeted research, or developing local ordinances.
