Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has announced the state’s plan to invest $75 million in 23 water quality improvement projects through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Invest Authority known as PENNVEST. The funding comes from a combination of state funds approved by voters, federal grants to PENNVEST from U.S. EPA, and recycled loan repayments from previous PENNVEST funding awards.
The projects, which include drinking water, wastewater, and storm water infrastructure improvements across 20 counties, are part of the Governor’s plan to improve the economic development, public health, and environment of the state.
