The Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation recently released its 2017 Annual Report, which provides insight into the Department’s priorities, performance, and promotion of environmental stewardship and natural resource management.
Highlights of the report include the entire state meeting federal air quality standards for ozone and particle pollution for the first time in more than a decade, state parks setting record visitor levels (especially during the total solar eclipse in August), and an employee-wide commitment to the “It’s Ours” mentality.
