Last Week, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) released an air monitoring informational video on YouTube. In the video, Air Department staff introduce viewers to the various technologies that they use in their field work, and to DEQ’s Mobile Air Monitoring Lab.
The agency regularly produces videos for its YouTube channel on topics that have been the subject of public interest and inquiry, and runs other educational programs such as its Enviroschool webinar series.
“When we teach members of the public about the tools and techniques our staff use, we find it gives them more confidence in DEQ’s ability to protect their health and environment,” said DEQ Press Secretary Greg Langley.
