West Virginia Governor Signs Executive Order on Permit Review

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice signed an executive order on April 23 to expedite the permitting process for and prioritize projects of critical economic concern. As part of continuing regulatory reform efforts, the executive order requires state agencies to “immediately review all completed permit applications upon receipt.” In a press release, Governor Justice said “I have been very focused on regulatory reform and will aggressively continue those efforts in our state.”
