The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) recently developed an online reporting system that allows businesses, industry, and other recycling entities to enter and track their recycling rates. The Recycling Reporting Program will help advance Michigan’s sustainability efforts by establishing recycling rates year-to-year and identifying areas for improvement. MDEQ hopes the online system will benefit the health of citizens and help business improve their sustainable practices.
