This week, Washington, DC was chosen as a winner in the Bloomberg American Cities Climate Challenge. As a winner, DC will enter a two-year acceleration program that will provide resources and support to the city’s carbon reduction goals.
The award will help support implementation of the Clean Energy DC plan, which includes goals like cutting greenhouse gas emissions 50 percent by 2032. For more information about the award and DC’s efforts, see here.
