On April 16, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection hosted U.S. EPA’s Office of Research and Development and Region 1 leadership and scientists at the state’s Senator William X. Wall Experiment Station. The visit included a tour and discussion on state topics of interest including PFAS methods development, microbial source tracking pathogens in ambient waters, and cyanotoxins.
This is the second EPA visit to the state laboratory, and an example of collaboration among federal and state partners to advance science and technology.
