From food drives to organized cleanups, the spirit of giving is alive and well at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) – not just every once in a while, but all year long. TCEQ employees truly step up to the plate when it comes to giving back to their community and helping their fellow neighbors.
Over the years, TCEQ employees have developed an outstanding reputation for volunteerism, especially through the Meals on Wheels program. Several days a week, a group of employees at TCEQ spends their lunchtime delivering meals. Some of these volunteers have been participating for nearly 25 years.
