This week, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality released an update to WyVisNet, a website dedicated to tracking air quality emissions across the state. The update includes enhancements to the graphic displays on the site as well as browser-friendly reports and optimization for mobile devices. Improvements to the site will also allow Air Quality Division staff to efficiently manage monitoring and data, which will save on staff time in the long run.
WyVisNet has provided air quality data to the general public since its launch in 2002. Earlier this year, the site began publishing near real-time data in order to better inform Wyoming residents of potential risks posed by wildfire smoke.
