On February 12th, 2018 the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released the President’s Budget Requestfor Fiscal Year (FY) 2019. OMB requested a U.S. EPA funding level of $6.15 billion, a 23 percent reduction from FY18 Annualized Continuing Resolution levels. In response to the February 9th passing of legislation setting overall spending caps for the federal government, OMB also released an Addendum to the President’s Budget Request. The addendum provides for an additional $327M for Superfund Remedial program national priorities, and $397M for Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds.
