Alabama Holds Nonpoint Source Management Conference

On January 9, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) hosted a one-day conference highlighting opportunities and successes in nonpoint source management.  Topics included stakeholder engagement for watershed management, implementing sustainable best management practices, innovative stormwater management techniques, and successful nonpoint source watershed implementation projects. In addition to ADEM speakers, the event featured academic, federal agency, and NGO speakers.
