As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Arizona DEQ has focused on public outreach to tell its story. Highlighting some of its successful customer service initiatives, the agency has released a series of Tweets about progress from 1987 to present.
Among the statistics touted: customers are being issued groundwater permits 72% faster, and public records requests have been fulfilled 80% faster, than five years ago.
