The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality and the Arkansas Recycling Coalition are holding Reducing Food Waste: A Forum for Colleges and Universities on May 4 in Little Rock.
The event will focus on how Arkansas campuses are diverting tons of food waste from landfills. Topics will include waste diversion options such as source reduction, feeding people, composting, and how to implement a food waste reduction effort on a college or university campus.
