ECOS Officers’ Written Congressional Testimony on FY20 Appropriations
House Testimony/Senate Testimony
In Spring 2019, ECOS submitted testimony to the House and Senate Appropriations Committees, Subcommittees on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies. The testimony addresses FY20 Appropriations for the U.S. EPA, specifically regarding State and Tribal Assistance Grants (STAG Categorical Grants) and other key state-related funding issues.
ECOS Summary of President’s Budget Request for U.S. EPA
On March 11th, 2019 the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released the President’s Budget Request for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020. OMB requested a U.S. EPA funding level of $6.07 billion. ECOS’ summary chart provides detail on requested funding levels by EPA program. Also on March 11th, U.S. EPA released its “Budget in Brief” document which provides further detail beyond ECOS’ chart, including alternative breakdowns, figures, and explanatory statements of budget decisions.
