The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) last week welcomed Utah Department of Environmental Quality Deputy Director Scott Baird to speak with staff about process improvement efforts underway in Utah. The partnership is the result of an ECOS Business Process Improvement mentoring program that pairs BPI leaders across state agencies.
Idaho looks forward to learning from and working with Utah DEQ in the months to come as it looks at its own processes and ways to best serve its customers while protecting public health and the quality of Idaho’s air, land, and water.
