In a YouTube video on its 2018 environmental accomplishments, the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality highlights EPA approval of its proposal to administer the National Discharge Elimination System program. Idaho is the 47th state to receive such delegation. The state also touts its work on Brownfield cleanups, woodstove replacements, emergency response air quality monitors near wildfires, and more.
The video also acknowledges the state’s participation in the Idaho-Utah ECOS business process improvement mentoring effort and its completion of a water reuse permitting kaizen and integrated reporting Lean event.
