The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) has awarded an Indiana Clean Yard-Gold Level certification to Pull-A-Part in recognition of the company’s continued efforts to protect the environment.
The Indiana Clean Yard program was established in 2009 as a collaborative effort by IDEM and the Automotive Recyclers of Indiana to decrease environmental threats posed by vehicles stockpiled in salvage yards. According to IDEM Commissioner Bruno Pigott, “This is a great example of how we can work with businesses and help them find ways to improve their processes while protecting Hoosiers and our environment.”
