The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has launched a mobile application called Kansas Waste Determination, a simplified, innovative method for facilities to report their hazardous waste generation. This app, which is free for both Android and Apple devices, is easy to navigate: complete a questionnaire about waste generation at your facility, generate a private PDF report that is sent to the state for traditional documentation, and either print or email the report for personal records.
Although questions are tailored to meet Kansas determination requirements, users can alter information given to make the app usable nationwide.
