New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Secretary James Kenney recently appeared as a guest on the Environmental Law Institute’s People Places Planet podcast as part of a series titled, “The Enforcement Angle.” Kenney shares insights from his long tenure in the environmental profession as well as some of the ways the NMED is working in conjunction with other state agencies to keep New Mexico’s unique environment healthy and prosperous.
Kenney highlights the necessity of working together with everyone from community groups to industry to foster innovative technological solutions and accountability in state enforcement programs.
