The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality recently launched new webpages regarding its Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program. A TMDL is the maximum amount of a pollutant that a waterbody can receive and continue to meet water quality standards.
The new information includes an online map and other features aimed at facilitating access and transparency.
