The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Office of Restoration and Office of Community Engagement Small Business Environmental Assistance Program are offering a workshop next month on restoration contracting.
The purpose of this free gathering is to share information regarding the necessary requirements for pursuing restoration contracting opportunities. Businesses will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with DEQ procurement officers, the Mississippi Development Authority, and the U.S. Small Business Administration. DEQ staff will be on hand to present requirements for procurement, while the Mississippi Development Authority and U.S. Small Business Association will present information about becoming a certified business.
