As part of Governor Eric Greitens’ “No Mo Red Tape” campaign, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is accepting comments on unnecessary and burdensome regulations within the agency. The comments will help identify red tape associated with DNR’s more than 23,000 regulatory restrictions. Red tape refers to regulations or other government rules or processes that are deemed to unnecessarily burden individuals and businesses while doing little to protect or improve public health, safety, and natural resources.
DNR will accept comments through December 15. More information on how to submit comments is available here.
