The Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Youth Education and Interpretation Program is providing education and interpretive services for youth, teachers, and youth leaders. Through the program, the department draws on staff expertise to make a unique contribution to the future of young leaders.
The program has launched a new website covering subjects across natural and cultural resources, stewardship, the connection between nature and health and wellness, and the department’s role in these areas. In addition to youth-oriented educational pages, the website provides lesson plans for the classroom and activities for all ages.
