Last week, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak proclaimed August 29 as Environmental Justice (EJ) Day in Nevada. To mark the occasion, the state compiled and shared a set of EJ resources, including links to the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection’s clean cars initiative, sustainable materials management program, and lead testing program. The document also provides links to resources from U.S. EPA and other federal agencies.
Environmental Justice Day in Nevada was the final event in the Nevada Climate Series, 2022, an initiative to bring awareness and resources to communities about climate change and efforts to build a more resilient state.
