In Executive Order 2019-12: Directing Executive Branch to Advance Nevada’s Climate Goals, Governor Steve Sislak directs Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Director Bradley Crowell to work with the Governor’s Office of Energy to lead the state’s work to achieve greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Among the deliverables set out in the Executive Order is a State Climate Strategy due by December 1, 2020.
“Under the Executive Order, we look forward to advancing strategies that reduce Nevada’s climate footprint, promote clean energy, and foster a healthy and sustainable future for all,” says Crowell.
