On September 3, the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) marked “Protect Your Groundwater Day.” Hear from Michelle Hunter, Chief of the Ground Water Quality Bureau (GWQB), on NMED’s Twitter page here. GWQB’s mission is to preserve, protect, and improve New Mexico’s groundwater quality for present and future generations.
Other states including New Hampshire and Wyoming also honored Protect Your Groundwater Day by sharing groundwater protection resources with the public.
