The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is offering a free class, RCRA Hazardous Wastes Basics and Managing Common Wastes, three times this summer to address state and federal hazardous waste management regulations. Record keeping, emergency planning, and hazardous waste generator categories are also covered, along with generation, storage, and disposal of universal wastes such as batteries, pesticides, and used oil.
