This year, the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation (TDEC) celebrates its 25th anniversary. The agency commemorated the milestone with two events, a statewide TDEC Silver Anniversary Kickoff in February and a 25 Homecoming anniversary capstone celebration in August.
TDEC notes that the festivities brought together past and current agency employees to both reflect on their achievements and identify emerging challenges to tackle in the next 25 years. More information is available here.
