The Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking nominations by March 31 for the 2017 Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Awards. Presented annually, the awards are the most prestigious environmental and conservation awards in the state. They are designed to bring about a greater knowledge and awareness of effective practices and projects and to recognize those who make outstanding contributions to the natural resources of their community and the state.
A nomination can be any achievement by an individual, business, organization, educational institution, or agency for its successful environmental projects and conservation measures.
