With winter coming to a close, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality took the opportunity to share a video with tips to prepare irrigation systems for spring.
In the video, a licensed irrigator gives step-by-step instructions on how to turn the water back on, control its flow, and find and repair any components that are broken, leaking, or damaged.
Taking these steps will help owners save money and conserve water. The video also details how to locate the backflow prevention device which ensures contaminants don’t enter into the water lines.
