The Utah Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has released a series of humorous PSA videos entitled “Ask DEQ, not Phil” to encourage residents to protect the state’s environment. The videos, issued during the agency’s 25th anniversary celebration, focus on the state’s three top environmental issues: air inversions, radon home testing, and clean water.
“These videos accurately depict the DEQ as an approachable and scientifically credible agency, while delivering an important environmental message in an unanticipated way,” said Amy Christensen, DEQ Deputy Director of Communications. “We wanted to attract Utah residents with unique and playful content that creates a shared comedic experience, ultimately recruiting more partners in pollution prevention.”
