This week, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) hosted two open houses at their mobile air monitoring stations in Laramie County to inform the public about the types of pollutants the monitors track and how the units operate. The stations monitor ozone, nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, continuous particulate matter, total hydrocarbons, and meteorology.
The DEQ provides real-time air quality readings from the DEQ’s 25 stations located throughout the state, available publicly here.
