The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Air Quality Division has launched an Open Air website to provide the public with access to data, public records, and other information about Division-permitted facilities.
Previously, the public had to submit a records request or physically visit DEQ’s offices to obtain data, materials, or information. The new system allows any member of the public to search for a specific facility and view the associated data and records. This allows the agency to expand services to industry and the public, improve data quality and accessibility, and offer increased transparency of information.
DEQ has posted online training materials and scheduled webinars to assist anyone interested in using the Open Air website. For more information, see the full WY DEQ press release.
