The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Department of Health will host a pre-Winter Ozone Season Update later this month. The purpose of the meeting is to allow stakeholders to exchange information and ask questions about the 2019 winter ozone season related to compliance and inspection matters and ongoing technical work by the Air Quality Division.
The DEQ has tracked winter ozone since recording high levels of ozone in the Upper Green River Basin (UGRB) in 2005. The UGRB Power of Partnership report details Wyoming’s efforts to reduce ozone levels between 2005 and 2017.
