To showcase water protection activities underway in the state, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Water Quality Division (WQD) will host its first annual Wyoming Water Quality Conference next month in Laramie. Participants will learn how the WQD fulfills its mission of protecting and restoring Wyoming’s water quality for current and future generations.
The October 17-18 conference will feature topics such as permitting programs and requirements, digital monitoring tools, and emerging contaminants. The gathering will include senior leadership and special guests and will consist of general sessions and four tracks of talks prepared to inform, educate, and train.
If your state is interested in comparing notes on water activities, or in developing a similar conference, see more information here.
